Bless Beats
Bless Beats is a producer/MC from the great city of London. He has been involved in music production for over seven years. During this time he made many tunes, however his breakthrough came in 2006 when he made 16 Bar Rally. This featured some of the scenes finest MCs such as Wiley, Rage, Esco, Gods Gift, Jammer and Scorcher. This instant hit brought more attention to his name, and also propelled him forward in the scene. This led, in 2007, to him being featured on many the biggest Mixtapes of the year, such as Roll Deep's 'Rules and Regulations', Jammer's 'Are You Dumb', Wiley's 'Tunnel Visions', Trim's 'Soul Foods', Chipmunk's 'League of my own', Little Dee's 'Dont Let The Name Trick You'.
After all this 2007 looked like a good year for Bless Beats, however this wasn't the end of a very eventful year for him. After working with Wiley a few times, Bless was invited to join Eskibeat alongside Wiley himself, Chipmunk, Little Dee, Ice Kid, Maverick and Maniac. Shortly after he was asked to produce a beat for Wiley's new album 'Playtime is Over', after a few days, stuck in the studio, Bless emerged with the banger My Mistakes. When record label 'Big Dada', who Wiley was signed to at the time, heard the tune they decided it had to be the single on Wiley's Album. This was another huge step in the right direction. Another of Bless skills is his eye for up and coming artists. Having been the first to work with artists such as Lauren Mason, Axeman and Lil' Rascals.
During this time Bless started work on his first mixtape 'Hard Days Graft'. This was his first major project, and he stepped up accordingly, working with likes of Roll Deep, Wiley, Tinchy Stryder, Lauren Mason, All in One, Jammer and many more alike. It was intended for release late 2007, however due to complications in the pressing process it was delayed and was released in early 2008.
At the moment Bless is working on many projects with his next being 'Another Hard Days Graft' and projects with Wiley, Lauren Mason, Jammer, Frisco, Manga, Roll Deep, Chipmunk and Ghetto already in the pipeline. With all this and more, we have only got a better and brighter music scene to look forward to in 2008.
Most recently, Bless Beats gained wider recognition as the producer of the Wiley hit 'Wearing My Rolex', which peaked at number 2 in the UK singles chart. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
